I have been making games of one sort or another my entire life, though I have only been paid for doing so for the last nine years. I tend to do most of my work in Actionscript, though I have done a few projects using other languages.
I am currently a PhD student in the New Media Studies program in the Department of Communication at the University of Utah where I study videogames. I also work for ASPIRE in the Department of Physics as a Flash developer. I do a fair amount of teaching here and there, as well as the occasional bout of web design. In addition to videogames, I have a keen interest in board games, old Space Legos and fine cheeses. I also play the Tuba.
