Matthew Riley is in his Junior year as a Music Education student at Kean University, Union, NJ. Throughout his education, he has studied Oboe, English Horn, Flute, Piccolo, and Voice (bass/baritone). He has had the opportunity to perform in ensembles such as the Kean University Chamber Winds Ensemble and Wind Ensemble (as 1st Oboist and English Horn player), as well as the Raritan Valley Community Symphonic Band and the Kean University Chorale, Concert Choir, and Men's Chamber Choir. Under the direction of Dr. Mark Terenzi, he has toured the East Coast of the United States with the choirs and has performed in locations such as Williamsburg, Virginia and Disney World, Florida. He has studied Music Theory under Dr. Allison Franzetti and Dr. Matthew Halper, and Orchestration and Form and Analysis under Dr. Anthony Scelba, founder of the Concert Artist program.
