My name is Nick and I'm part of a small team of indie game developers called From Nothing Game Studios. We're trying to figure out what to do and how to proceed at the current momement, but we did successfully design, complete, and release a puzzle game called GravBlocks into Google Play. One that successfully reinvents the match-3 puzzle formula to incorporate gravity and strategy. I did the conceptual design, art, and direction of GravBlocks.
In the meantime, I'm scrambling to look for work anywhere and everywhere so that I can, obviously, have the income to continue in my indie capacity (until such time as we can make it work in a "business" kind of way). My strengths are in game concept design, writing, character writing, art and simply understanding what it is that makes a game "work" or "not work." Challenge, fairness, learning curves, logical design and the like.
