Game: Operation-Party

Like the iOS game 'Space Team', but medically themed rather than spaceship themed. The main idea, for those unfamiliar, is that multiple players are assigned 'tasks' and must frantically shout them at one another in the hopes that someone can perform the task with their given controls.

Diversifiers

Stay Inside The Box: The whole game takes place in just one screen, no scrolling or changing screens in any way is allowed.
More the Merrier: The game is a competitive or cooperative multiplayer "party game" (i.e., based on minigames, humor, 4+ players, audience engagement, etc.), meant for one screen or more.
Approved for All Audiences: The game must not show any violence, not even cartoonish. Stepping on living mushrooms is off the list, as is killing any type of enemies, not even undead, though we know they’re already dead…
May the (Web) Force Be with You: The game runs in a browser with no plugin.

Platforms

Web standard (Html5, Java, JavaScript, Flash)

Used Node.js and Socket.io for networking, some Underscore.js, some Zepto.js for convenience, original thought was to use Skeleton for CSS but didn't end up helping much, and various other newer web features (css transitions, audio tag etc.)

- Create and allow for multiple lobbies

- Better architecture for widgets to allow dynamic content and labeling for them, and multiple 'win values'

- More widgets for more fun

- Team objectives (like the 'Space Team' asteroid or worm hole)

- More mobile polish

- Cleanup and reset of widget timers, assets inputs etc.

- Hook audio up to status

- Have more status indicators (how much time is left, how many tasks are left)
