Move on your heart and move on your life.
Game: Hopping Dead
A zombie has found himself with a new heart, a thumping yet week heart. One day, he found a purse dropped by a girl ghost, and thus raced to catch up with her and return her purse. In this game, you control the zombie through rhythmic action as well as maneuvering in a road-runner setting. The goal is to have the zombie get as close to the girl ghost as possible while running down the road. Instructions: - Click the heart in the left screen to pump the heart, from which the zombie will gain the momentum to run. However, if the clicks are too frequent, the heart risks overheating and the zombie will lose speed instead. - Use the left and right arrow keys to move the Zombie and dodge obstacles along the road. - A Game Over occurs when: 1) Your distance between the girl ghost is too far, 2) Your HP becomes empty, or 3) You let the Zombie drop into one of the manholes, 4) The heart is not pumped, turns black, and stops; the zombie will also collapse. - Note that every-time you restart a game, an extra zombie will also appear on stage. These extra zombies will cause damage to your zombie as other obstacles do. However, they, too, can run and get injured when they run into obstacles themselves.
I Know What You Did Last Summer: Game world is persistent between sessions and changes from one session affect game play on the following ones.
Backwards: One or more aspects of the game works the opposite as would normally be expected: maybe the controller is reversed (left is right, right is left), maybe you win lives every time you die, maybe it scrolls to the left and your character moonwalks.
No cheating (please): The game system relies on willing player participation to enforce the rules of the game world (e.g., hold your breath, close your eyes, etc.).
More the Merrier: The game is a competitive or cooperative multiplayer "party game" (i.e., based on minigames, humor, 4+ players, audience engagement, etc.), meant for one screen or more.
