Game: Heart Industries
The year is 2047. Heart Industries has made nanorobots that monitor the vital organs of people. What they did not tell anyone is that the nanorobots could control the brains of the people. Because of this, Heart Industries was able to overthrow the world governments and take over. From time to time, revolutionaries against Heart Industries would appear. These revolutionaries would try to overthrow Heart Industries, but were always jailed. You play as a revolutionary trying to escape the prison where you are being kept (the goal of the game is to escape). This is a text based game. Type the direction you would like to move in to move. Due to the fact that Heart Industries has messed with his brain, the character moves opposite the direction of the key that is pressed. (For Example: typing "move forward" key causes you to move backwards, etc.) Commands are as follows: "move forward"(moves character back), "move back"(moves character forward), "move left"(moves character right), "move right"(moves character right), "inspect"(searches the area/room, and returns info about where the character is), and "use [item]". *By the time the GGJ is over, only the tutorial level will be complete. In the tutorial, you play as a worker at Heart Industries controlling the main character.* How-To: 1. Inspect. 2. Move left (will move you right). 3. Use crowbar (this will pick up the crowbar). That's all for now!
Backwards: One or more aspects of the game works the opposite as would normally be expected: maybe the controller is reversed (left is right, right is left), maybe you win lives every time you die, maybe it scrolls to the left and your character moonwalks.
10 little pigs: The game uses 10 or more buttons or keys for gameplay-related actions (no pause or anything else).
